International Charity Exhibition by The Milliart.com Portal 

An international internet portal Milliart.com is glad to represent its first offline project – a charity exhibition sale. The painting and graphic works by artist from Ukraine, Croatia, Russia, Belarus, Germany, Latvia and Georgia will be exposed at the exhibition. NowadaysMilliart.com is an art portal that has united the works of art by approximately a hundred artists from various countries of the world like Peru,Albania, Finland, China and many others. At the same time the number of authors is constantly growing and the number of countries whose art is represented at the web site is increasing. The portal aims at promoting the original authors who unite the author’s message and traditional component in their art from all corners of the world. Besides this the portal sets a few more aims to achieve: the representation of the Ukrainian art worldwide, creation of a platform for the international art dialog, introduction of the culture of various countries to the art lovers from all over the world. It is why all the information placed on the portal is available in four languages (English, Ukrainian, Russian and Chinese). The charity exhibition will take place in the Russian club "Cult Ra" – an innovative space, the authenticity of which dwells not only in the national cuisines but also in the very atmosphere of the place where the history and wisdom of the native land are honored.

Iranian Culture Week in Ukraine

                   

The Ukrainian House changed its appearance for some days –it hosts the Iranian Culture Week that unites various kinds of artin it. Thus, the festival brought together the photo exhibition, the painting, calligraphy, traditional minting,enamels, leatherwork, silver carving and many others. The Persian carpets, light and thin, with an elaborate ornament are amazing. It was the carpets that fully reveal the striking particularity of the Iranian decorative applied art–they have big volume of colors and decorative elements and at the same time lack massivity.

 

There is not even a slight hint on the supersaturated luxury, quite the opposite,the beauty of the Iranian handicraft is in its moderateness, the ability to chose and combine the colors and ornaments in the proper way. The own exposition, by the way, has the same quality –on a rather small territory the organizers managed to represent very heterogeneous manifestations of an art that assembled into a single charming action. So beside the permanent exhibition as it was described above a variety of events takes place during the festival: traditional live music, "Iranian Rhythms", the Iranian films show, the Iranian national clothes show. The most exotic performance of the program is the traditional reading of the epic writings (a famous poem "Shahname" among the others) accompanied by music. The lectures on the Iranian culture, particularly on the theater history are held in a separate hall.

        

The folk craftsmen and artists will carry out workshops of calligraphy, painting and leatherwork for the ones who were inspired by the Iranian culture in the frames of the festival. Also one can buy some souvenirs (postcards, keyholders, jewelry,enamels, carpets etc) at the Iranian Culture Week.

The International Art Fair in Sidney

 

Art Sidney is the annual international art fair that was take place in Australia. Today it is one of the biggest Australian exhibitions and the number of its visitors surpassed the number of 15.000 last year. The year 2010 this number is expected to increase in several thousands.

The popularity of the Art Sidney is not surprising. The exhibition was founded on the principles of democracy from its very beginning. After the years of the exhibition’s functioning we can surely say that the aim of the exhibition, that is to make art available for everyone, is reached in a full measure. The bed stone of the exhibition settled by the organizers of Art Sidney is to sell the pieces of art, but the objects with the exorbitant prices are not allowed to take part in the exhibition. In such a way the beginner collectors and the ordinary art lovers can find interesting exhibits because the exhibits on sale are available for any pocket. The exhibition has no special emphasis on some particular style or trend in art; here one can find almost everything: traditional, contemporary and actual art, the artworks by the beginning and mature authors, painting, graphic art, photography and sculpture.

Art Sidney annually increases not only the quantity of the visitors but the number of the participants as well. This year over 80 galleries will be gathered under one roof. Personal projects by single artists will be presented too. Together with Art Almanac the exhibition will prepare a special project dedicated to the works of art by the beginning Australian artists.

The exhibition will not be limited by the indoor exposition. The part of the Art Sidney will be an open-air platform where the sculptural objects of the beginning Australian artist Louisa Dowson and an international duet of Gilli & Mark will be shown.

I have always enjoyed art from an early age. This love of Art has stayed with me and developed and grown. Making art, for me, is an innate response to the inner and outer worlds. I am interested in exploring my natural abilities and enthusiasm for my commitment to do an art within my innermost thoughts and emotions.
My art is an evolving process, I take and represent only elements which are the essence of the object or of the imaginary being. I rely on my desires for beauty, poetics and seduction.
My influences are first and foremost, what I feel and experience.

Drawings  of this wonderful and beautiful women carry a brainchild of the show on how multifaceted and unusual may be the human soul. She uses a variety of drawing palette of colors each of its leaf.

Auction Bonhams in New York

Famous auction house Bonhams will organizecontemporary art bids on November, 9. The auction will take place in New York and will be transmitted to Los Angeles. Under the title Modern and Contemporary Art auction Bonhams has gathered artworks by the painters of ХIX, XX and XXI centuries. Among them one can find some familiar to the visual arts names: Adolf Gottlieb, Fernand Léger, Bernard Buffet, Philip Guston, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Richard Anuszkiewicz, Aaron Young, Rachel Howard, Tom Wesselmann. The bidding has no restriction as for the art styles: Impressionism, pop-art, Abstractionism, actual art and many others.

The experts suppose that the top bid of the auction will be the painting by the American painter, abstract painter Philip Guston (“Unnamed”, 1952) with the estimated price 950.000$. The art lovers have great expectations about another abstract impressionism painting by Adolf Gottlieb “Green. Ochre. Maroon” (1969). The estimated price of the painting by the American author is 200.000-300.000$.

Four painting by the French artist Fernand Léger will be sold from the bid, their start price vary from 30.000 to 800.000$. The French authors will be represented by the sculptures by Alexandr Archipenko (25-35.000$) and Auguste Rodin (25-35.000$), the painting by Renoir (200-400.000$) and the other works.

This season the auction Bonhams will widely represent the East European authors of the ХIX – 1st half ХХ centuries, among them we can name Hungarians Vilmos Aba-Novák and Hugó Scheiber and an Austrian Franz von Zülow. The start prices for their works vary from 3 to 30.000$.

Art today. What we will have tomorrow?

 Nowadays is redefining the social issues, a number of topics related to history,
nature, ecology, violence, racism, world hunger, environmental
pollution. Artists are suitable to all this diversity to multimedia - by means of painting, installation, photography, and video tools. Is it good or maybe some day art will die? 

I think that the question always arises. Many art historians and critics say, so that we do not potyaryali Arts as a branch of the spiritual development of humanity painters and sculptors and filmmakers should not lose their authenticity. Should introduce and supplement the work of cultural characteristics of their country. No need to swim for the mass they must keep their work in an original style, which not only renders to their vision but also gave an opportunity to see the cultural characteristics of that part of the world which so strongly influenced by their worldview.

           Do not forget our roots and we do not lose arts in the future

Every day we feel a lot of emotions inside. And unfortunately only a small fraction of these emotions are joyful and are really nice. Many of them are, and the anger and irritation and sadness, and sometimes even despair. Very important for us to feel secure and safe, have a place where we can go back to the place of dreams and fantasies. So yesterday I came home tired and have only one desire to find myself in some place where will be warm, nice and will be a lot of bright colours.
And i 'we started surfing the Internet looking 4 some interesting pictures. And found some pictures from Aleksey Kaliakin. I was impressed by such interesting combinations of colours and forms on his paintings . I even thought that he probably is a very happy men if he have a muse to create such drawings.
